Data Protection Committee

The Data (Protection) Committee works with our privacy policies, personal data collection, processing, and protection plus anonymity protection.  The Committee along with the Data Coordinator also work with directing cloud and google drive systems and administration.  The Committee needs service volunteers urgently -especially those with OA data protection experience and/or IT experience.  Any legal experience in reviewing and proofing data documents would also be most helpful.  

 

We have an urgent need for a volunteer cloud/google drive manager (or team of experts) who can help set up our data privacy relational database system.   

 

We currently have working groups addressing:   

1.   Constant Contact maintenance and e-blast  (weekly electronic newsletter)

2.   Policies and Procedures:  both internal to our committee and for the region as a whole.   

3.   Data protection audit    

4.   Updating our data protection procedures to have systems that are more automated and interact seamlessly with each other
