It’s time to begin planning the 2027 Virtual Region Convention, and we invite you to be part of this wonderful service opportunity.
The convention is the Virtual Region’s largest outreach and unity event. It welcomes newcomers from around the world, helps members renew and recommit to their recovery, strengthens our fellowship, and provides vital Seventh Tradition support for the region.
Serving on the Convention Committee has allowed me to witness the miracles of recovery. I’ve met members who first found OA through a Virtual Region Convention and later returned to give service, and others who trace their abstinence to a convention and now carry the message to others.
The convention is organized through 1- subcommittees Link, offering many ways to give service. the Virtual Region Board is seeking a second Co-Chair. If you feel called to that position, Iwe encourage you to reach out. (Please note that there is a one year abstinence requirement for the Co-Chair position. There is no abstinence requirement for serving on or chairing a convention subcommittee.)
Our first Convention Committee planning meeting will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. Eastern Time (UTC−4).
At this meeting, we’ll select a convention theme and logo to recommend to the Virtual Region Board for final approval.

It is our members—and especially our service bodies—whose generous support and commitment to service have made the size and scope of every Virtual Region Convention possible. We invite each service body to identify at least one member to serve on a convention subcommittee.
