Data Protection Committee

The Data Protection Committee meets every other Tuesday at 11:30 am ET (UTC-4).
Beginning Tuesday, October 1,2024

The Data (Protection) Committee works with our privacy policies, personal data collection, processing, and protection plus anonymity protection. The Committee along with the Data Coordinator also work with directing cloud and google drive systems and administration.  Any legal experience in reviewing and proofing data documents would also be most helpful.

We currently have working groups addressing:

  1.   Constant Contact maintenance and e-blast (weekly electronic newsletter)
  2.   Policies and Procedures: both internal to our committee and for the region as a whole.
  3.   Data protection audit
  4.   Updating our data protection procedures to have systems that are more automated and interact seamlessly with each other

Please contact us @ datarequest@oavirtualregion.org if you have any questions or are interested in giving
service with this committee.
